Molly Clemons Multipurpose Room Open

The Molly Clemons Multipurpose Center is now open for use. The former kitchen was refinished and refurbished because of the generosity of the Beaudoin Family Foundation, The Eugene Cable Trust Fund, and Tim and Christie Geier-Pratt.

Executive Director Ron Clemons said Molly would be pleased “with the modern décor and deeply, yet humbly honored. This is something she would not have expected, or even felt she deserved.”

Steve Fry, facilities manager, oversaw the transition. He chose a more modern look, using tones of blue and gray. A new conference table and chairs will be used for Board meetings and other special events. Since there is a baby grand piano in the room, it can also be used as a private studio.

The Board of Directors voted to name the room in her honor after her unexpected death on Sept. 29, 2022. She was co-executive director with her husband, Ron, who remains as director.

The room will be dedicated this fall.
